In the microcosm and macrocosm of our lives, April presents an array of opportunities to actualise our intentions. To lead ourselves with authenticity, to explore what it is we really want and to define the roles which we want to play in the world. If March was about refining our perspectives and beliefs around blockages and resistance to the things we want, then April is about taking that one step further and working on the feelings of the counter beliefs that are needed to intentionally overcome resistance. As we navigate these especriences, the invitation will arise to contemplate the location of our power – whether it is in the mind or the body, whether we use it to uplift or undermine, to nurture or neglect ourselves or others. It is a time to examine the seed energy we are taking into our workplaces, homes and our desires. April is a future forward energy which can easily be self forgetting about the past. It is calling us to explore what our past experiences felt like, not to wrap ourselves up in the story of it but to really consider what was the seed energy of our past experiences and how can I infuse a new energy to experience a new reality. It encourages us to step out of our comfort zones and engage with our hearts, our curiosity and openness. If April's outset were to be summarised on a billboard, it would read, "Raw Power, Feel me to Know me" “Feel it” because this power is immense. It has all the force of a seed ready to grow, small in size and with the heart of creation ready to boulder its way forth to its potential. The exuberant energy of April's inception embodies youthful enthusiasm, boundless creativity, and an unwavering belief in potential. However, amidst this dynamism lies the challenge of emotional regulation and clarity of intention, focus and remembering what and why you are growing. It’s about infusing power with deep meaning, support and nourishing choices to last us through our days and leave no harm on our journey.
To do this, we are urged to channel our efforts inward, to scrutinise lovingly the motives behind our actions and being, and to discern whether they serve our evolution or perpetuate old patterns. As the month progresses, we are reminded to balance fervour with moments of receptivity and introspection. Cultivate feminine qualities such as listening, flow, and joy which can complement the masculine drive for action, fostering a harmonious equilibrium.
